Since January last year, the national stadium at Kallang annouced that it’s closing down after that. And after every subsequent matches held there. I wonder how they really define ‘last’ =/ Lasting?

Just like last year, it was with the same bunch of people + a new few ones - a few people who can’t make it. I don’t really wanna write much about it, because it’s really just… soccer match. I’m like a shoemaker in a socks factory - I’m not that crazy about screaming and stuffs when watching soccer. Dominic would have alot to say though, so head down to his blog and read (it’s full-coverage of the screamings and things like that!).

Here are some of the taunts that we came up with.

When they go down, and stand up after a while,
“KANG KONG LEGS!”
“Go back to Vietnam!”
“Next flight to Vietnam one more hour!”

When having substitution,
“You going wrong way! Changi Airport not there!”

When they ask for stretchers,
“How many stretchers you want?!”

When they ask for first aid,
“It’s okay, Vietnam got no proper medical care so you use Singapore’s!”

One guy went down 2 seconds after he tackled a Singapore player,
“It takes 2 seconds for the brainwaves to travel through the nerves to tell him that it’s pain.”

Their keeper went down after falling on his own, then got up after 2 minutes and asked for water,
“You want water just ask lah, don’t need dive!”
“Singapore for NEWater, Vietnam got NO WATER!”

While waiting for the keeper to get up, a Singapore player picked up Vietnam’s bottles and drank the water,
“DRINK ALL!”
“SPIT INTO THE BOTTLES!”

While celebrating their win, a group of them were lying on top of each other,
“LIKE THAT PAIN OR NOT?!”
“People touch you, you pain. People on top of you, not pain.”

After a few deliberate swings from the Singapore side,
“NEXT TIME KICK THEM HARDER!”

And moving on…

Some things to note

1. Vietnam players kept falling down on the field. I guess the grass is always green on the other side for them, hence explaining why they adore our field so much.
2. One guy from Singapore resembles Drogba. Really.
3. We witnesses a half-moon. (Winks at Dominic, Edward, Darren etc.)
4. Singapore lost to Vietnam. Vietnam. Pfffff.
5. I love sitting around uncivilized fans. They really heat things up.
